Job Details:

Qualifications Required:
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
- Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.
- Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic/pneumatic electrical control systems.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and related devices.
- Interpret electrical code specifications.
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Working Conditions:
- Work site environment includes working at heights and in confined spaces across various locations.
- Physically demanding role involving bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
- Requires manual dexterity, hand-eye co-ordination, and the ability to distinguish between colours.
- Fast-paced environment with a large workload and tight deadlines.
- Vehicle and travel expenses are supplied/paid by the employer; must have a valid driver’s licence and passport.
- Must provide own tools and steel-toed safety boots.
