Qualifications Needed:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years in a human resources role

Responsibilities:

  • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Assign projects to subordinates related to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations
  • Coordinate HR department activities to meet organizational goals
  • Direct and motivate staff while evaluating daily operations
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs
  • Review HR projects for compliance with laws and regulations
  • Train staff and establish policies and procedures
  • Mediate labor disputes and grievances
  • Oversee classification and rating of occupations
  • Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies
  • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales
  • Administer employment equity and other HR programs
  • Manage contracts and coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
  • Oversee employee data analysis and recommend changes
  • Develop communication strategies and prepare reports
  • Advise senior management and respond to employee questions and complaints
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff, overseeing payroll administration
