Job Details:

  • Salary: $17.20 bi-weekly / 30 to 37.5 hours per week + 0.5% commission per load (minimum wage guaranteed)
  • Hours: Evening, Night, Weekend

Qualifications Required:

  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma (3 months to less than 1 year) or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Job Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve complaints and claims
  • Register guests and assign rooms
  • Manage room reservations
  • Provide hotel and local area information
  • Process departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
  • Balance cash and complete related reports
  • Maintain inventory of vacancies and reservations
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures
  • Perform clerical duties (faxing, filing, photocopying)
  • Answer and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning
  • Provide customer service
