Qualifications Required:
- Education: Secondary school graduation certificate (or equivalent)
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide bedside and personal care; bathe, dress, groom, and assist with hygiene
- Assist with feeding, exercise, walking, and pool activities
- Weigh, lift, turn, and position clients; change non-sterile dressings
- Plan and prepare therapeutic, nutritious meals; shop for food and supplies
- Launder, mend clothing and linens; perform light housekeeping
- Offer companionship and implement behaviour-management programs
Working Conditions:
- Physically demanding; lift/handle 45–60 kg (100–132 lbs)
- Bending, crouching, kneeling; combination of sitting, standing, walking
- Repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
