Job Details:

  • Location: 32 County Road 17, Jasper, ON K0G 1G0
  • Workplace: On site
  • Salary: $25.00 to $45.00 hourly (To be negotiated)
  • Hours: 40 to 44 hours per week
  • Employment Type: Permanent employment, Full time
  • Schedule: Day shift, 08:00 to 17:00, Overtime required
  • Start Date: Starts as soon as possible

Qualifications Required:

  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years; or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, inspect, and diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized testing equipment.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts and components.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturers’ specifications.
  • Perform welding and attach components to new farm equipment.
  • Conduct routine maintenance including cleaning, lubricating, and servicing attachments.
  • Specialize in diesel engine repair (fuel injection, exhaust, cooling, and engine control systems).
  • Perform mechanical maintenance on transmissions, drive trains, hydraulics, and brake systems.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance reports and documentation.

Working Conditions:

  • Physically demanding environment requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Handling heavy loads up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Requirement for manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Must provide own tools and steel-toed safety boots.
  • Willingness to travel cross-border; travel expenses paid by employer.
