About the Role:
Toronto Concrete Company is seeking a skilled Handyman to join our team. You’ll play a vital role in our mission to provide top-tier renovation and repair services across various commercial settings, including essential service sectors like grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations, as well as banks, restaurants, and retail spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Renovations and Repairs: Lead and execute renovation projects, performing a wide range of repairs to ensure high-quality tenant improvements across diverse commercial environments.
- Light Framing & Drywall Repairs: Carry out light framing tasks and repair drywalls, ensuring all work meets structural and aesthetic standards.
- Painting: Deliver expert painting services, ensuring all surfaces are finished to the highest professional standards.
- Flooring Installation: Install various flooring types with precision, enhancing the durability and appearance of commercial spaces.
- T-bar Ceiling & Door/Window Installations: Skillfully install T-bar ceilings, doors, and windows, optimizing both the functionality and visual appeal of commercial spaces.
- Carpentry: Perform light millwork and carpentry repairs, demonstrating exceptional craftsmanship in every project.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in renovations and tenant improvements, particularly within commercial settings.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot effectively, resolving issues with innovative solutions.
- Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinking skills, enabling sound decision-making on the job.

Additional Requirements:
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, particularly for eligibility to work on specific job sites.
