Qualifications Required:
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma
- Experience: Will train
Job Responsibilities:
- Clean crops and greenhouse areas
- Deleaf crops to accelerate ripening
- Hand-harvest vegetables
- Remove suckers and water sprouts manually
- Tie and secure plants
- Apply insecticides and fungicides
- Assist with pruning
- Report signs of damage or disease
Working Conditions:
- Wet/damp and hot environment
- Exposure to odours
- Physically demanding tasks
- Repetitive work
- Standing, bending, crouching, kneeling for extended periods
- Weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Rural location with no public transit (own transportation required)
