Qualifications Required:
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
- Experience: Experience an asset
Job Responsibilities:
- Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides
- Mix and prepare soils, plant bulbs and seeds, and pot and re-pot plants
- Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings and apply fertilizers
- Report signs of insect or disease damage and assist in grafting activities
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
- Operate jackhammers and drills to break up pavement
Working Conditions:
- On-site agricultural greenhouse environment requiring physical presence
Personal Suitability:
- Reliable, attentive to plant health, and capable of manual labor tasks
Eligibility:
- Canadian citizens, permanent residents of Canada, or temporary residents of Canada with a valid work permit. (Must be authorized to work in Canada).
