Company Description:
The Employment Agency is recruiting greenhouse labourers for various agricultural sites in Windsor, ON, supporting large-scale crop production and plant care.

Job Details:

  • Location: Windsor, ON, N9A 3K8
  • Workplace: On site
  • Salary: $20.03 hourly / 40 hours per week
  • Hours: Day (07:00–16:30)
  • Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
  • Schedule: Starts February 2, 2026

Qualifications Required:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Job Responsibilities:

  • Divide harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots
  • Hand-harvest vegetables and seedlings
  • Mix fertilizer and operate climate controls
  • Write daily progress reports
  • Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides
  • Plant bulbs and seeds; pot and re-pot plants
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens
  • Clean work areas

Experience and Specialization:

  • Products: Bedding plants, seasonal plants, vegetables
  • Crops: Bell peppers, carrots, cauliflowers, cucumbers, tomatoes, zucchinis, onions, herbs
  • Equipment: Irrigation pumps and equipment
  • Sector: Green economy

Working Conditions:

  • Wet/damp environment
  • Physically demanding tasks
  • Repetitive work, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Must own safety equipment: steel-toed boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles
