The Employment Agency is recruiting greenhouse labourers for various agricultural sites in Windsor, ON, supporting large-scale crop production and plant care.
Job Details:

Qualifications Required:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Divide harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots
- Hand-harvest vegetables and seedlings
- Mix fertilizer and operate climate controls
- Write daily progress reports
- Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides
- Plant bulbs and seeds; pot and re-pot plants
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens
- Clean work areas
Experience and Specialization:
- Products: Bedding plants, seasonal plants, vegetables
- Crops: Bell peppers, carrots, cauliflowers, cucumbers, tomatoes, zucchinis, onions, herbs
- Equipment: Irrigation pumps and equipment
- Sector: Green economy
Working Conditions:
- Wet/damp environment
- Physically demanding tasks
- Repetitive work, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling
- Weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
