Key Responsibilities
As a Graphic Designer, your primary duties will include:
- Adapting existing illustrations and assisting in developing storyboards for electronic productions, including multimedia and television advertising.
- Producing 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations.
- Determining the most appropriate medium to achieve the desired visual effect and communication goals.
- Preparing sketches, layouts, and graphic elements.
- Using existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides to enhance designs.
- Setting type for printing and performing layout and page make-up using conceptual mock-ups.
- Transforming digitized images using retouching systems and specialized software.
- Designing and laying out pages, producing computerized images and drawings.
Qualifications
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Graphic Design or a related field.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to distinguish between colors.
- Excellent creativity and ability to work independently.
