Key Responsibilities
As a General Manager, Sales, your primary duties will include:
- Allocating material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
- Authorizing and organizing the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
- Coordinating the work of regions, divisions, or departments.
- Establishing objectives for the organization and formulating or approving policies and programs.
- Representing the organization in negotiations and other official functions.
- Promoting sales to existing clients and building relationships with business clients.
- Leading the sales team in managing negotiations of sales contracts.
- Establishing financial and administrative controls and approving promotional campaigns.
- Overseeing overall human resources planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: 5 years or more of relevant experience in sales and management.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Access, Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a client-focused approach.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage a large workload effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
