About Chatham Towing Services Ltd
Chatham Towing Services Ltd is a well-established company providing reliable towing and transportation services. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Manager to oversee our operations and lead our team to success in the goods production, utilities, transportation, and construction sectors.
Key Responsibilities
As the General Manager, your primary duties will include:
- Allocating material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
- Authorizing and organizing the establishment of major departments and senior staff positions.
- Coordinating the work of various regions, divisions, or departments.
- Establishing financial and administrative controls, formulating and approving promotional campaigns, and overseeing human resources planning.
- Setting organizational objectives and formulating or approving policies and programs.
- Representing the organization in negotiations or other official functions.
- Selecting middle managers and executive staff, delegating necessary authority, and creating optimal working conditions.
- Supervising a team of 11-15 people.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a managerial role.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and general computer knowledge.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal awareness and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
