Qualifications Needed:
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in agricultural work or related experience
Responsibilities:
- Clean crops and cut agricultural products.
- Grade vegetables and fruits according to size, shape, color, and volume to maximize market value.
- Perform greenhouse cleaning and hand-harvest vegetables.
- Pack fruits and vegetables and pick row and orchard crops.
- Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops; remove suckers and water sprouts manually.
- Clean work areas, fertilize, and spray crops.
- Harvest crops and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- Detect disease and health problems in crops and livestock.
- Examine products for quality and readiness for market.
Experience and Specialization:
- Type of Crops: Primarily cucumbers.
Additional Information:
- Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation is required.
- Work Conditions:
- Fast-paced environment requiring the ability to handle repetitive tasks and work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Physically demanding, involving standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
