Responsibilities:
- Apply hoeing techniques between rows of crops.
- Cut agricultural crops and assist in planting, cultivating, and irrigating.
- Manually remove suckers and water sprouts, and perform weeding.
- Clean work areas and ensure proper maintenance of farm equipment.
- Fertilize and spray crops as needed.
- Harvest crops and examine product quality to ensure readiness for market.
- Operate and maintain various farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, forklifts, and tillage equipment.
Work Environment:
- This position requires on-site work; remote work is not an option.
- Work is conducted in a rural setting, often under physically demanding conditions.
Qualifications:
- No formal education is required; experience in farm work is an asset.
- Familiarity with crops such as ginseng, soybeans, and tobacco is a plus.
- Ability to operate farm machinery and tools safely.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work independently and handle repetitive tasks.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, and perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, crouching, and kneeling for extended periods.
