Job Details:
- Location: Burlington, ON
- Salary: $70,000 annually / 40 hours per week

Qualifications Necessary:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Responsibilities of the Job:
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal controls.
- Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies.
- Prepare reports and audit findings.
- Prepare financial statements and reports.
- Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures.
- Prepare income tax returns from accounting records.
- Analyze financial documents and reports.
- Examine accounting records for discrepancies and compliance.
Credentials:
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) certification
Experience and Specialization:
Candidates should have knowledge of computer and technology, particularly with:
- Accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Accounting Software)
- MS Office (including MS Excel)
- MS Windows
Work Conditions:
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. The environment is fast-paced with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail.
Personal Suitability:
Candidates should be dependable, organized, reliable, and analytical, with excellent written communication skills.
