Qualifications Required:
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
- Experience: Will train
Job Responsibilities:
- Apply fertilizers and sprays
- Hoe between rows and clean crops
- Cut, sort, and grade produce
- Hand harvest vegetables and pick orchard crops
- Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- Shear and shape trees and plants
- Tie and secure plants, perform weeding
- Operate and maintain farm machinery
- Detect crop diseases and assess product quality
- Perform greenhouse cleaning and general farm maintenance
Working Conditions:
- Outdoors in all weather conditions
- Wet/damp, dusty, hot, cold, and dirty environments
- Fast-paced and physically demanding
