Job Details:

  • Location: Bolton, ON, L7E 1G4
  • Workplace: On site
  • Salary: $48.36 hourly / 33 to 40 hours per week
  • Hours: Full time
  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Schedule: Early morning, morning, day, weekend; overtime available
  • Start Date: As soon as possible

Qualifications Required:

  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Job Responsibilities:

  • Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts using measuring tools in compliance with building codes
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wood, steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems

Working Conditions:

  • Environment: At heights, confined spaces, noisy, outdoors
  • Setting: Construction, various locations, commercial, industrial, institutional, residential, roads and bridges
  • Physical demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, standing, walking, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, tight deadlines
  • Equipment: Hand tools, steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles
  • Transportation: Own transportation required
