Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff preparing and portioning food.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Hire food service staff and ensure food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports and food order summaries for the chef.
  • Supervise the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish work schedules for the team.

Supervision:

  • Responsible for supervising 3-4 staff members.
