Responsibilities:
- Establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff preparing and portioning food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Hire food service staff and ensure food and service meet quality control standards.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Address customer complaints or concerns effectively.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports and food order summaries for the chef.
- Supervise the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
- Establish work schedules for the team.
Supervision:
- Responsible for supervising 3-4 staff members.
