Qualifications Required:
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Install built-up roofing systems using asphalt saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel
- Install single-ply roofing systems with waterproof sheet materials
- Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems
- Repair roofing systems
- Apply waterproof coatings to masonry surfaces
- Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
- Install sheet metal flashings
Working Conditions:
- Work at heights, outdoors, in noisy, dusty, and dangerous environments
- Fast-paced and physically demanding
- Bending, crouching, kneeling
- Hand-eye coordination
- Handling heavy loads (more than 45 kg / 100 lbs)
