- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma
- Experience: Will train
Job Responsibilities:
- Grade fruits and vegetables by size, shape, colour, and volume
- Pack fruits and vegetables
- Pick row and orchard crops
- Sort fruits and vegetables
- Train trees for higher quality fruit production
- Fertilize and spray crops
- Harvest crops
Working Conditions:
- Environment: Fruit and vegetable combination farming; wet/damp, dusty, hot, noisy, dirty, all weather conditions
- Setting: Rural area
- Physically demanding tasks including handling loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Standing, bending, crouching, kneeling, walking for extended periods
- Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, work under pressure
- Own transportation required
- Steel-toed safety boots needed
