Qualifications Required

  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Specialization: Italian cuisine

Job Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff
  • Supervise specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and kitchen workers
  • Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and food handling
  • Lead and instruct individuals
  • Inspect facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
  • Apply food safety and handling skills
