OrientDepot is a dynamic player in the e-commerce sector, committed to delivering quality products and exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electronic Commerce (E-Commerce) Specialist to join our team in Mississauga.
Key Responsibilities
As an E-Commerce Specialist, your primary duties will include:
- Analyzing market reports, trade periodicals, and sales promotion materials to inform purchasing decisions.
- Arranging products according to the established planogram.
- Establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements.
- Overseeing the distribution of merchandise to various outlets.
- Reviewing establishment requirements to determine the quantity and type of merchandise needed for purchase.
- Selecting and purchasing merchandise for resale.
- Attending trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay updated on industry trends.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in e-commerce or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in e-commerce or electronic commerce.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Client-focused with efficient interpersonal skills.
