Qualifications Required:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Job Responsibilities:

  • Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine work requirements.
  • Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of industrial equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical apparatus.
  • Replace or recondition critical components such as shafts, bearings, and commutators.
  • Wind, assemble, and install various types of coils for motors and transformers.
  • Use machining tools to fabricate, recondition, or modify parts.
  • Perform on-site servicing, repair, and replacement of faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear.
  • Conduct performance testing on repaired apparatus to ensure operational standards are met.

  • Work must be completed at the physical manufacturing location in North York.
  • Industrial environment involving the use of heavy machinery and specialized tools.
  • Tasks require high technical precision and adherence to electrical safety protocols.
