Qualifications Required:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine work requirements.
- Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of industrial equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical apparatus.
- Replace or recondition critical components such as shafts, bearings, and commutators.
- Wind, assemble, and install various types of coils for motors and transformers.
- Use machining tools to fabricate, recondition, or modify parts.
- Perform on-site servicing, repair, and replacement of faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear.
- Conduct performance testing on repaired apparatus to ensure operational standards are met.

- Work must be completed at the physical manufacturing location in North York.
