Requirements:
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years in truck driving
Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
Credentials:
- AZ class license required
- Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
- Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Documentation Knowledge:
- Familiarity with driver logbooks, inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), and trip reports
Type of Trucking and Equipment:
- Experience with dump trucks and flatbed trucks
Transportation/Travel Experience:
- Local transportation
Work Conditions:
- Physically demanding with repetitive tasks
- Ability to handle weights up to 50 lbs
Personal Equipment:
- Must have own cellular phone, hard hat, and steel-toed safety boots
