The Odan/Detech Group Inc. is a leading engineering and consulting firm specializing in construction and civil engineering projects. We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Drafting Technologist to join our team in Burlington. Location: Burlington, ON
Salary: $30.00 to $31.00 hourly (to be negotiated)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full-time
Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities
As a Drafting Technologist, your primary duties will include:
- Preparing engineering designs and detailed drawings.
- Developing and preparing design sketches based on project specifications.
- Preparing construction specifications, cost estimates, and material estimates.
- Writing technical reports and specifications as required.
- Completing documentation packages and drawing sets for projects.
- Examining drawings for conformity and identifying errors.
- Consulting with clients, engineers, or production specialists to establish product requirements.
Qualifications
Education: College/CEGEP diploma in a related field required.
Experience: 1 to less than 2 years in a drafting or engineering role.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk REVIT.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills.
Additional Information
- This position requires work to be completed on-site; remote work is not an option.
- Public transportation is available for commuting.
