Community Living Tillsonburg is a social service organization dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through inclusive residential and community-based programs.

Job Details:

  • Location: Tillsonburg, ON, N4G 3A1
  • Workplace: On site
  • Salary: $25.62 to $26.77 hourly (To be negotiated)
  • Hours: 24 to 40 hours per week
  • Employment Type: Casual employment, Part time leading to full time
  • Schedule: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours, To be determined
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Vacancies: 4

Qualifications Required:

  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma (1 to 2 years)
  • Experience: Experience an asset

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative and office activities
  • Assess client skill strengths and development needs
  • Conduct housekeeping and food preparation
  • Resolve conflict situations
  • Supervise clients in group homes and halfway houses
  • Liaise with social service agencies and health care providers
  • Assist clients with special needs
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings

Working Conditions:

  • Work in group homes, private residences, and various locations
  • Socio-economic support environment
  • Criminal record, child/adult abuse registry, and driver’s licence checks required
  • Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s licence
  • Weight handling up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
