Delivery Driver Job in Toronto

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team in Toronto. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our customers using a company-provided cargo van. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a cargo van to deliver products to various locations within Toronto and surrounding areas.
• Load and unload goods from the van.
• Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition.
• Follow route and time schedule.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and report any issues or delays.
• Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with a cargo van.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
• Familiarity with GPS devices and route planning.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
