Key Responsibilities
As a Database Analyst, your primary duties will include:
- Documenting customers’ requirements for projects and reporting needs.
- Liaising with staff on data requirements, collection, and availability.
- Providing advice to other informatics professionals regarding database management tools.
- Designing and developing databases to meet project needs.
- Operating database management systems to analyze data effectively.
- Researching and documenting data requirements, data collection policies, and data access rules.
Qualifications
- Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in database analysis or management.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in database software, data analysis software, and project management software.
- Strong knowledge of networking security, HTML, and MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
