Job Details:
- Location: Toronto, ON
- Job Type: Part-time, Casual, Permanent, Full-time
- Pay: $22.00–$24.50 per hour
- Shift Schedule: 4-hour shift, 8-hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry and Maintenance: Enter patient information, treatment records, and relevant data into our electronic health record (EHR) system with precision.
- Accuracy Checks: Regularly review data entries to ensure accuracy and consistency with medical and administrative standards.
- Records Organization: Organize and maintain digital records in accordance with clinic policies and privacy regulations.
- Documentation Support: Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely documentation of patient visits, medical histories, and treatment plans.
- Data Confidentiality: Uphold strict confidentiality and comply with health information privacy laws, including HIPAA.
- Coordination with Departments: Work with front desk, billing, and medical teams to address data discrepancies and improve record-keeping processes.
- Report Generation: Assist in generating regular and ad-hoc reports based on patient data to support clinic administration.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in data entry, ideally within a healthcare or medical setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems or willingness to learn.
- High level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
- Basic knowledge of healthcare privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
