Qualifications Required:
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma
- Experience: Experience an asset
Job Responsibilities:
- Clear fields of wood and stones
- Handle animals and monitor calving process
- Monitor animal health and treat livestock health issues
- Perform livestock feeding and prepare calving areas
- Feed and tend animals
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Carry out pasture or pen breeding programs
- Milk cows
- Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
- Perform general farm duties
Working Conditions:
- On-site work only, no remote option
- Rural area environment with exposure to hay farming, dust, heat, noise, odours, wet/damp, cold/refrigerated conditions, dairy, livestock, and all weather conditions
- Physically demanding tasks, repetitive work, handling heavy loads, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling for extended periods
- Must pass criminal record check and medical exam
- Public transportation not available; on-site housing options provided
