About Tabouli by Eddy’s
Tabouli by Eddy’s is a well-loved restaurant specializing in Lebanese cuisine, known for our fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. We are currently seeking a skilled Cook to join our team in Windsor. If you are passionate about cooking and have experience in a fast-paced kitchen, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
As a Cook, your primary duties will include:
- Preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes.
- Preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Training kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling.
- Ordering supplies and equipment to maintain kitchen operations.
- Supervising kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Cleaning the kitchen and work areas to ensure a sanitary environment.
- Organizing buffets and banquets as required.
Qualifications
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma in cooking or culinary arts.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant cooking experience, preferably in Lebanese cuisine.
Credentials
- Cook Trade Certification and Safe Food Handling Certificate are preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete repetitive tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills and reliability.
- Team player with good time management and initiative.
Additional Information
- Must have own transportation as public transportation is not available.
- Free parking is available on-site.
