Qualifications Needed:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in cooking, preferably in a restaurant setting
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling procedures.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean the kitchen and work areas to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
Supervision:
- Supervise general cooks and kitchen helpers.
Experience and Specialization:
- Cuisine Specialties: Focus on Mediterranean cuisine.
