Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes to perfection.
- Accommodate customers with food allergies or intolerances by preparing appropriate dishes.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards.
- Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
- Order supplies and equipment necessary for kitchen operations.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to maintain productivity and quality.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to uphold hygiene standards.
- Organize buffets and banquets as required.
- Manage overall kitchen operations effectively.
Qualifications:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant cooking experience.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required.
Workplace Information:
- This position requires on-site work; remote work is not an option.
Work Conditions:
- Fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks.
- Attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks are essential.
- Overtime may be required.
