Qualifications Necessary
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a cooking role
Responsibilities of the Job
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment as needed
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas regularly
