Qualifications Necessary:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Medium/heavy vehicle and truck technology/technician
- Truck and bus driver/commercial vehicle operator and instructor
- Purchasing, procurement/acquisitions, and contracts management
- Experience: 5 years or more
Responsibilities of the Job:
- Coordinate and schedule activities
- Oversee apprenticeship training
- Train or arrange for training
- Set up machines and equipment
- Select and employ trade subcontractors and coordinate their activities
- Supervise a team of 5-10 people, including labourers and truck drivers
Experience and Specialization:
- Area of Work Experience:
- Purchasing, procurement, and contracts
- Commercial vehicles inspector
- Specialization or Experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge
Conditions of Work:
