Work Environment:

  • Site Environment: At heights, confined spaces, noisy, and dusty.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare layouts in compliance with building codes using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.

  • Security and Safety: Bondable.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, handling heavy loads, large workload, overtime may be required, physically demanding, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Own Tools/Equipment Required: Tools and safety equipment/gear, including steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles.
