Required Qualifications:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC brake press and related machines
- Perform metal forming or shaping operations: bending, coining, cutting, drawing, flattening, forming, twisting, piercing, punching, splitting, straightening, upsetting
- Operate brakes, drills, forging press, micrometers, power presses, punch presses
- Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines
- Handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks
- Ensure attention to detail and quality of finished products
Working Conditions:
- Metal product fabrication industry, sheet metal shop
- Fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking
- Handling weights up to and over 45 kg (100 lbs)
- Overtime required
- Use of own vehicle, valid driver’s licence
- Must have own safety equipment (ear plugs, gloves, hard hat, mask, safety glasses, steel-toed boots)
