Qualifications Required:
- Education: Secondary school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
- Set up and adjust production machinery and tools
- Fit and assemble components and parts to close tolerances
- Verify part dimensions with micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments
- Set up and operate conventional and CNC machine tools
Working Conditions:
- Manufacturing shop environment; shift work with overtime
- High attention to detail; work to tight tolerances
