Key Responsibilities
As a Cleaning Supervisor, your primary duties will include:
- Hiring and training cleaning staff or arranging for their training.
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of workers to ensure efficient operations.
- Inspecting sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Preparing budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services.
- Recommending or arranging for additional services such as painting, repairs, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
- Maintaining financial records and receiving payments for specialized cleaning jobs.
- Assisting cleaners in performing their duties as necessary.
- Coordinating work activities with other departments and establishing work schedules.
Qualifications
Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
Experience: 1 to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry.
Skills Required
- Strong client focus and dependability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Flexibility and initiative in problem-solving.
- Good judgment and reliability in managing tasks and staff.
Additional Information
- This position involves a fast-paced work environment with repetitive tasks, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, including standing for extended periods.
