Job Details:

Overview:

  • Languages: English
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Work Environment:

  • Work Setting: Cleaning service company, Commercial facility, Residential

Responsibilities:

  • Hire and train cleaning staff or arrange for their training
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of workers
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services such as painting, repair work, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments
  • Establish work schedules
  • Utilize MS Office tools for documentation and reporting

Supervision:

  • Supervise a team of 5-10 people

Credentials:

  • Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

Experience and Specialization:

  • Computer and technology knowledge including MS Outlook and Xactimate

Additional Information:

  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check required
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s license required
