Overview:
- Languages: English
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Work Environment:
- Work Setting: Cleaning service company, Commercial facility, Residential
Responsibilities:
- Hire and train cleaning staff or arrange for their training
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers
- Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
- Prepare budget and cost estimates
- Recommend or arrange for additional services such as painting, repair work, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment
- Coordinate work activities with other departments
- Establish work schedules
- Utilize MS Office tools for documentation and reporting
Supervision:
- Supervise a team of 5-10 people
Credentials:
- Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Experience and Specialization:
- Computer and technology knowledge including MS Outlook and Xactimate
Additional Information:
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check required
- Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s license required
