Qualifications Required:
- Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience in Carpentry
- Experience: 5 years or more
- Certifications:
- Carpenter Trade Certification
- Carpenter Red Seal Certificate
- PPE Training
- Working at Heights Training
- WSIB Clearance Certificate
- Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
- Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
Job Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches
- Prepare layouts according to building codes
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, subflooring, walls, and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Instruct apprentices and supervise 1–2 workers
