Job Details:
- Location: Brampton, ON
- Salary: $36.00 hourly / 35 hours per week
- Type of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
- Hours of Work: Day, Evening, Morning
- Start Date: As soon as possible

Qualifications Needed:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in carpentry
Work Setting:
- On the road; work locations may vary, requiring frequent or constant travel.
- Work environment may be noisy, dusty, and primarily outdoors.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare estimates of labor and material costs
- Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Prepare layouts in conformance with building codes using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- Prepare tenders and quotations
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware
- Schedule and coordinate work on sites and instruct apprentices
- Operate CADD and other computer software systems

- Work Conditions:
- Physically demanding role involving bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
