Job Details:
- Location: Brampton, ON
- Salary: $35.00 hourly / 37.5 hours per week
- Type of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
- Hours of Work: Day, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning

Qualifications Needed:
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in carpentry
Work Setting:
- On-site work; there is no option to work remotely.
- Work environment includes heights, outdoors, and can be noisy and dusty.
Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants
Experience and Specialization:
- Experience with hand tools and equipment used in carpentry
Additional Information:
- Transportation/Travel: Own transportation required
- Work Conditions:
- Physically demanding, involving bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage a large workload
