Qualifications Required:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including industrial plants, hospitals, and commercial establishments.
- Supervise 1 to 2 other workers on-site.
- Utilize and maintain a variety of hand tools.
Working Conditions:
- Work environment includes outdoors, noisy, and dusty conditions.
- Work settings range from residential and commercial renovations to industrial sites.
- Must have own transportation and be willing to travel regularly to various job locations.
Personal Suitability:
- Leadership skills for supervising small teams.
