Qualifications Required:
- Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry; Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC); Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification; Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
- Experience: Experience an asset; Specialization in clinical medicine and cardiology
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat diseases and physiological disorders.
- Prescribe medication and treatment plans.
- Refer patients for surgery and act as consultants to other physicians.
- Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Supervise a team of 3-4 people.
Working Conditions:
- Work under pressure in a private practice setting.
- High requirement for attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Security and safety: Criminal record check and immunization records required.
