Job Details:

  • Location: 519 rue Main Est, Hawkesbury, ON, K6A 1B3
  • Workplace: Hybrid (in person and remote)
  • Salary: $68,000 to $80,000 annually (negotiable) / 35 to 40 hours per week
  • Hours: 35–40 per week
  • Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
  • Schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime available (08:00–16:30)
  • Start Date: As soon as possible

Qualifications Required:

  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate/diploma (1–2 years) or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 5 years or more

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise professional and support staff and students
  • Administer programs promoting industrial and commercial investment
  • Plan development projects and develop venture capital sources
  • Respond to business community inquiries on development opportunities
  • Advise on government approval procedures for proposals
  • Develop social and economic profiles to encourage investment
  • Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts, and articles
  • Provide consulting services to government and organizations
  • Review and evaluate development proposals
  • Maintain databases of franchisees, real estate, and online buy/sell sites
  • Prepare funding applications and ensure licenses are in place
  • Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, and symposia
  • Develop and implement business plans
  • Manage office operations and consult with boards, managers, and officials
  • Notify debtors of overdue accounts and coordinate work assignments

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid work (in-person and remote)

  • Travel required: own vehicle, valid driver’s licence, expenses paid by employer, including cross-border and international travel
