Key Responsibilities
As a Business Development Officer, your primary duties will include:
- Developing policies and administering programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in both rural and urban areas.
- Planning development projects and responding to inquiries from the business community regarding development opportunities.
- Conducting surveys and analyzing data on consumer buying habits and preferences in wholesale and retail markets.
- Conducting comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products.
- Preparing reports, research papers, and educational texts or articles.
- Conducting analytical marketing studies and social or economic surveys to assess development potential and future trends.
- Reviewing and evaluating commercial or industrial development proposals.
- Designing market research questionnaires and evaluating customer service and store environments.
- Conducting online marketing, E-commerce, and website promotions.
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies and consulting with clients post-sale to provide ongoing support.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience: 3 to less than 5 years of relevant experience.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant computer applications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Efficient interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and sound judgment.
