Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Experience in building maintenance is an asset
Responsibilities:
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; contact tradespersons for major repairs
- Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
- Perform minor repairs on appliances
- Supervise other workers and move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
- Perform routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
- Work with minimal supervision and maintain an inventory of supplies
