Qualifications Required:

  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a 1–2 year program
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Job Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and prepare payroll cheques
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Maintain and balance financial records using manual and computerized systems
  • Manage general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare financial reports, statistical summaries, and tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
