Job Overview:
As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing payroll, and ensuring accurate reporting. Your role will involve using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems to manage various accounts and prepare financial statements.
Responsibilities:
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries and prepare trial balances
- Reconcile accounts and prepare tax returns
- Generate other statistical and financial reports as needed
Requirements:
- Languages: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to less than 2 years in a bookkeeping or accounting role
- Computer Skills: Proficient in accounting software, such as QuickBooks and Sage Accounting Software
